Hendrika Tennant, M.Ed.

I have a Master of Education degree in Counselling Psychology from the University of Alberta. I have worked as a Registered Psychologist for Alberta Health Services and taught psychology as a sessional instructor at Concordia University of Edmonton. My thesis research focused on the experience of hope after traumatic bereavement.

My special interests include treating anxiety disorders of all types in adolescents and adults. I have training in Prolonged Exposure Therapy and Cognitive Processing Therapy, both highly effective treatments in alleviating symptoms of Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder.
