Dr. Kelli Palfy

I am a Registered Psychologist who specializes in trauma, anxiety, depression, work place harassment and grief/loss. I also specialize in working with male survivors of sexual abuse, and with couples struggling to get along and/or reconnect/rekindle what has been lost.  This may include when one has suffered a trauma.  I have several years’ experience working with people suffering from PTSD.  Prior to becoming a psychologist. I had PTSD myself, so ‘I get’ the challenges associated to coping with this and other anxiety related disorders. As a retired Mountie (13.5 years) I cater well to first responders of any sort.

I have a variety of specialized training that allows me to tailor my approach to suite your needs. I am trained in Emotionally Focused Therapy for both couples and individuals, Cognitive Behavior Therapy, Prolonged Exposure, Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and The Gottman Approach. My approach will depend on your comfort level, style and your desired outcome for treatment. I will create a space where you feel comfortable, welcome and safe. I am a Christian and comfortable bringing faith into our work together.
