Dr. Natsumi Sawada

Are you struggling with anxiety, sadness, or difficulty managing thoughts or feelings? Are you frustrated by doing the same things over and over? Are you ready to make a change? Therapy can help you figure out why you feel the way you do and help you make the changes you need to feel better. This opens up the possibility of building the life you want.

I’m a skilled, experienced, and non-judgmental psychologist specializing in mindfulness therapies and CBT. In therapy we’ll use strategies from these approaches to help you understand your difficulties; develop practical strategies to manage and change your patterns; work towards what’s important to you; and feel healthier and more empowered and connected to yourself and others. I care deeply about my clients and my priority is to create a space where you feel safe, listened to, and understood. You can expect genuine attentiveness, kindness, and respect from me always.

My practice is diverse but I have particular expertise working with people experiencing feelings of sadness, loneliness, or anxiety/fear; difficulty understanding and managing feelings; eating/food related issues; obsessive/repetitive thoughts and behaviour; work and school-related difficulties; and relationship difficulties.
